Bring Me To Life
|
|
how can you see into my eyes like open doors
leading you down into my core
where I’ve become so numb without a soul my spirit sleeping somewhere cold
until you find it there and lead it back home
Wake me up inside
(I can’t wake up)
Wake me up inside
(Save me)
call my name and save me from the dark
(Wake me up)
bid my blood to run
(I can’t wake up)
before I come undone
(Save me)
save me from the nothing I’ve become
now that I know what I’m without
you can't just leave me
breathe into me and make me real
bring me to life
(Wake me up)
Wake me up inside
(I can’t wake up)
Wake me up inside
(Save me)
call my name and save me from the dark
(Wake me up)
bid my blood to run
(I can’t wake up)
before I come undone
(Save me)
save me from the nothing I’ve become
Bring me to life
(I've been living a lie, there's nothing inside)
Bring me to life
frozen inside without your touch without your love darling only you are the life among the dead
all this time I can't believe I couldn't see
kept in the dark but you were there in front of me
I’ve been sleeping a thousand years it seems
got to open my eyes to everything
without a thought without a voice without a soul
don't let me die here
there must be something more
bring me to life
(Wake me up)
Wake me up inside
(I can’t wake up)
Wake me up inside
(Save me)
call my name and save me from the dark
(Wake me up)
bid my blood to run
(I can’t wake up)
before I come undone
(Save me)
save me from the nothing I’ve become
(Bring me to life)
I’ve been living a lie, there’s nothing inside
(Bring me to life)

Fikirkan Boleh
Jika kau fikirkan kau boleh
Kau hampir boleh melakukan
Jika kau fikirkan ragu-ragu
Usahamu tidak menentu
Jika kau fikirkan kekalahan
Kau hampiri kegagalan
Jika kau fikirkan kemenangan
Kau hampiri kejayaan
Engkaulah apa kau fikirkan
Terkandung dalam pemikiran
Kau fikir boleh melakukan
Fikirkan boleh
Percaya apa kau lakukan
Tabah apa kau usahakan
Bertindak atas kemampuan
Engkau boleh
Briefings after briefings and trainings after trainings….we only took a few days in the last 2 weeks to train our champs due to work demand. Some working on the night shift and some tight with 8.30am to 5.30pm working schedule. It’s not easy to get everyone together but in the end….we did well!
24th July 2008, we woke up as early as 5am to catch the one and only express boat to Belaga at 6am from Bakun site. It was drizzling when we gathered at the jetty. Alexander Lehan (the team manager) and few other peoples had arrived Belaga a day earlier to submit the team registration, etc. After an hour express boat ride, we finally arrived at the destination but it was heavy rain.
The program delayed as the organizer was waiting for the weather to turn good or at least better for the first perahu race to start. We did not do well on the first day, we lost both races (8 males and 10 males categories).
But that did not make us lose our passion but we put our strength and determination together, hand in hand and shout out our motto “One Voice, One Team, One Objective”…..
That night, we slept as early as 10pm to ensure that we have enough rest and to get ourselves recover from the exhaustion and fully ready for another 3 races tomorrow.
25th July 2008, we dropped one race which started as early as 8.30am to ensure that the 1st place trophy and gold medals belong to us for the next race in the evening i.e: Mixed Rowers - Sg. Asap (20 rowers which consist 15 males and 5 females) and we did it!!! Even though we had only 18rowers in all (shortage of 2 female) compared to other teams but we did well! That is the beginning of the team spirits. We strived for 2nd 1st place trophy for the 10 males rower category but we did quite good and grabbed the 2nd place.
As we did on the night before, the same briefing done by the team manager to ensure each and everyone of the participants still have the company and team objective stick in themselves.
Diana, the assistant manager delivered her Giam Pasang Rainforest Challenge briefing on the route, preparation, warming up session and etc. We slept early as we had to wake up as early as 5.00am to gather at the gathering muster point with the rest of the participants from another company, organization, private body to warm up.
26th July 2008, We traveled by boat at 7am for about 15 minutes to reach at the Giam Pasang Rainforest Challenge event starting point. A gun shot was released after 30minutes briefing on the route, checkpoints, things to do, first aiders and to mark the beginning of Giam Pasang Rainforest Challenge.
The first participants arrived 1.5hours later while our company participants arrived at the finishing line at the 8th and 10th place and they took about 2hours to complete the trail. It was not an easy job for the office staff! It was drizzling and the trail was slippery. But they did it!!! Some came back with bleeding body, cuts, leeches stuck on their body, some were hungry but something for sure is that they had a great memory and experience there!
Last 2 categories of perahu race started at 3.30pm and 4.30pm, they were 10male rowers for the inter-company category. We won the 2nd place again…. While for the 15rowers mixed inter-company category, we only managed to be at the 4th place. Too tired as it was consecutively….shattered and frustrated….but above all those….we had delivered our best!
We did it!!!!
One Voice, One Team and One Objective!!!

To or Not to Let go?
|
 |
|
Don't let go!
|
|
|
Reading that, made me feel like Kate winslet's husky voice murmuring in my ears....it's titanic...she said "Don't let go, Jack...dont you ever let go"...hehe
If we keep on letting things go....what is left for us to own? I have been letting so many things go and now I realized that I have nothing but me.... a pathetic me....
coz I didnt wanna fight, I didnot wanna beg....
Never let go! Don't keep on running away and dont keep on letting things go. Slow down and hold it back, analyze it, and try to overcome it, rectify and improve it. Faith will move mountains. It takes no sweat if you know how to handle it (like David Copperfield aka David Padang Tembaga or David dari Padang Rengas...whatever!)
You wouldnt know what future have promised you and where it may reside.
.....Don't cross the bridge till you come to it, and don't you ever burn the bridge behind you....take care of it even transitory ones as you may be crossing that bridge again and again...you might need it, at the time you never know!
Sometimes fools rush in and people tend to make mistakes and there's no one so deaf that they will not hear, there's no one so blind that they will not see.....remember this....TO ERR IS HUMAN AND TO FORGIVE IS DIVINE...and forgiving has its own source of joy!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The past cannot be changed...the future is still in your power!
"Life is precious, handle with PRAYER!"...to have a beautiful life...it requires effort and knowledge too.....
If Tomorrow Never Comes - Westlife
Sometimes late at night
I lie awake and watch her sleeping
She's lost in peaceful dreams
So I turn out the lights and lay there in the dark
And the thought crosses my mind
If I never wake up in the morning
Would she ever doubt the way I feel
About her in my heart
If tomorrow never comes
Will she know how much I loved her
Did I try in every way
To show her every day
That she's my only one
If my time on earth were through
And she must face the world without me
Is the love I gave her in the past
Gonna be enough to last
If tomorrow never comes
'Cause I've lost loved ones in my life
Who never knew how much I loved them
Now I live with the regret
That my true feelings for them never were revealed
So I made a promise to myself
To say each day how much she means to me
And avoid that circumstance
Where there's no second chance
To tell her how I feel
If tomorrow never comes
Will she know how much I loved her
Did I try in every way
To show her every day
That she's my only one
If my time on earth were through
And she must face the world without me
Is the love I gave her in the past
Gonna be enough to last
If tomorrow never comes
So tell that someone that you love
Just what you're thinking of
If tomorrow never comes
An hour to live, an hour to love....
|
|
If I have an hour to live....I wont sweat the small stuff, there's nothing else matter anymore...not the money, not the assets, hope amalan dah cukup....hehe
If I have an hour to love...to love....I wont wait till the last hour, I have my whole life to love someone, another half of me, my family, my friends, people around me. The things for sure I dont want to leave this life with hatred and I will never ask if there is anyone love me so that I can rest in peace....I wont sweat the small stuff, not at the last hour.
When we feel broken down to our lowest point, and we are fully exposed and vulnerable where we identify with nothing, it is here we find innate love and compassion as our source of life. And, we all come from the same source. I have been many times in the process of losing my beloved that I have felt completely broken, but never alone or without love. When life appears to be falling apart on the worldly level, rest assured that all will be well spiritually and your true self is calling you to emerge. In fact, the more dramatic life changes that are happening usually indicate that your authentic self is screaming to be revealed!
As we wake up, which often happens in suffering, we realize that it is not the circumstances of life that make us or break us, but rather our relationship to ourselves and an indwelling source of love that allows us to move forward on the path of life. We can see that sometimes life gives us what we need, not what we think we want, so that we can choose to find our innate joy as the source of happiness that resides inside each and every one of us, in love.
Melly Goeslaw & Krisdayanti - Cinta
Menatap jalan yang menjauh
Tentukan arah yang ku mau
Tempatkan aku pada satu
Peristiwa yang membuat hati lara
Di dekat engkau aku tenang
Sendu matamu penuh tanya
Misteri hidup akan kah menghilang
Dan bahagia di akhir cerita
Cinta tegarkan hatiku
Tak mau sesuatu merenggut engkau
Naluriku berkata
Tak ingin terulang lagi
Kehilangan cinta hati
Bagai raga tak bernyawa
Aku junjung petuamu
Cintai dia yang mencintaiku
Hati yang dulu belayar
Kini telah menepi
Bukankah hidup kita
Akhirnya harus bahagia
Cinta
Biar saja ada
Yang terjadi biar saja terjadi
Bagai manapun hidup
Memang hanya cerita
Cerita tentang meninggalkan dengan ditinggalkan
Cinta…..
Australia Day 2008 - www.australiaday.gov.au
|
|
Invitation received from our Client's office. A party to celebrate! This event was organized by Mr. Keith Kinsella's wife, a proud aussie helped by Sarawak Hidro Sdn Bhd staff. We are the guests this time. Thanks to Snowy Mountain Engineering Company staff and wives.
Australia Day,
celebrated annually on 26 January, is the official national day of Australia, commemorating the establishment of the first British settlement on the continent of Australia. The date is that of the foundation of a British penal colony at Sydney Cove on Port Jackson, New South Wales in 1788, by Captain Arthur Phillip, who was to become the first Governor. Australia Day is an official public holiday in all states and territories of Australia, and has also been known as Anniversary Day& Foundation Day.
On the eve of Australia Day each year, the Prime Minister announces the winner of the Australian of the Year award, presented to an Australian citizen who has shown a "significant contribution to the Australian community and nation", and is an "inspirational role model for the Australian community". Subcategories of the award include "Young" and "Senior Australian of the Year", and an award for "Australia's Local Hero".
Records of the celebration of Australia Day date back to 1808, and in 1818, Governor Lachlan Macquarie held the first official celebration of Australia Day. In 2004, an estimated 7.5 million people attended Australia Day celebrations and functions across the country.
